VerifyRx Global is a decentralized technology initiative dedicated to eradicating counterfeit pharmaceuticals across sub-Saharan Africa. By bridging the gap between drug manufacturers, regulatory agencies like NAFDAC, and everyday patients, we ensure every pill is authentic.
The Problem
Counterfeit medication is a silent epidemic. According to UNODC reports, hundreds of thousands of lives are lost annually in Africa due to falsified antimalarials and substandard antibiotics. The current supply chain lacks transparency and real-time verification.
Our Solution
We deploy AI-driven, single-use dynamic QR codes. Once a code is scanned by a patient, it is marked as "USED" in our global ledger. This prevents counterfeiters from duplicating packaging, giving power directly back to the patient.
