At VerifyRx, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of all users interacting with our pharmaceutical authentication platform. The data we collect depends on your interaction type:

• For Patients & Consumers: We collect anonymized scan data including timestamp, device operating system, and GPS geo-location to detect counterfeit hotspots. We do not collect personal health information.
• For Manufacturers: We collect corporate registration details, NAFDAC identification numbers, and enterprise email addresses required to maintain a secure dashboard environment.

02. Data Security & Encryption

All verification records and QR code payloads are secured using industry-standard AES-256 encryption at rest. Generated QR codes are cryptographically signed using HMAC-SHA256 architectures, ensuring absolute data immutability.
